- Honourable mentions to Michele Audette ran a competitive four-way race for for the Liberal nomination in Manicouagan.
- Chief Georjann Morriseau removed her name from as nomination candidate for Thunder Bay-Rainy River noting her community support to run for re-election as Chief of Fort William Fort Nation.
